The rail system is ideal for upgrading an echo sounder.
Rod holders can be mounted on the rail system. There is also space for a landing net.
Why a rail system?
A rail system offers many advantages, especially on an inflatable kayak!
The accessories do not have to be glued to the kayak, but can simply be attached to the rail system. This means that you can mount your accessories in a different place at any time without damaging the kayak by removing the adhesive.
Another advantage of the rail system is the permanent adjustment of its attachments. Once you have fitted all the attachments in the right place, you don't want to take them off and on again every time. As the rail system is permanently attached to the seat, you can remove the seat including the mounted rail system and its attachments. This means that you can simply refit the seat with the rail system the next time you go out and have the same setting as last time.
Installing the rail system
The two long rails are attached under the seat through the booster seat using the four long screws. The short rails are mounted on the outside with sliding blocks and the two short screws.
